Boeing Canada Winnipeg invites qualified proponents to submit a proposal for the delivery of uniformed onsite contract security services, and is seeking to enter into a contract for a 3 year period, with 2 one year options to extend. Boeing currently has a workforce of approximately 1500 employees, with considerable presence of contract labour, which supports a 24/7/365 manufacturing operation.
Boeing Canada Winnipeg is the largest aerospace composite manufacturer in Canada, and is a manufacturing business unit of The Boeing Company, Fabrication Division (USA). It has 2 physical sites located in Winnipeg, one at 99 Murray Park Rd. (approximately 700,000 sq. feet) and the other at 1345 Redwood (approximately 110,000 square feet). The Murray Park site is located on 128 acres of land.
Both sites have 24/7/365, security services and have a secured perimeter. Uniformed security is responsible to provide access controls to the secured sites and other duties as identified.

The 99 Murray Park site is situated in the Industrial Park area of St. James with limited bus service to the area. The 1345 Redwood Ave facility border’s an Industrial / Commercial area with regular bus service a short walking distance form this site. Transportation may be a consideration that may impact uniformed security assignment to any of the Buyer’s sites.
