CS2020-17-T-3802 - Security Upgrades

This is an open tender for all intersted bidders.
The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Central Services, Asset Management, seeks to select a qualified Security Contractor to supply and install all new security and equipment systems to modernize and harden the physical security of a downtown office space located at 254 Portage Avenue in Winnipeg, MB. Security upgrades include, but are not limited to, cameras, alarms, and card access. The Security Contractor will report to CPPD General Contractor and coordinate all scheduling, supervision, and safety documentation through the General Contractor. The General Contractor will provide all required electrical for new security systems. The General Contractor will be providing the demolition of existing systems to accommodate new.
A mandatory site visit will be held starting on February 2, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Central standard Time (CST). Due to COVID restrictions gatherings of more than 5 people are not permitted. Bidders must pre-register via email with alex.needham@gov.mb.ca at least 2 business days prior to the date and time of the site visit. The first three registrants will attend on February 2, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. CST, the next three will attend at 6:00 p.m. CST. If required, site visits will continue on February 3 at 5:00 p.m. and so on.
Deadline for questions is February 9, 2021. All questions are to be submitted via email to the contract administrator at nicole.doherty@gov.mb.ca.
Submission deadline is February 16, 2021 at 2:00:00 p.m. Bidders must submit their Bids through electronic submission by upload to MERX. No other form of bid submission will be accepted. It is solely the Bidder’s responsibility to ensure that the Bid is received prior to the Submission Deadline.
