2023-14-5032010-P - Replacement of Septic Tanks

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation (“Owner”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for septic tanks replacement of four units further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).

CPPD requires the services of a Contractor for replacement of four (4) septic tanks of four single family units in Cross Lake . The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of the four existing septic tanks, excavation, piping, pump, alarm installation, with required electrical works. Work site location will be occupied during construction.

CPPD is administering this RFP process. For the purposes of this procurement process, the “RFP Contact” will be:

Proponents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, elected or appointed officials, or other representatives of Manitoba or CPPD other than the RFP Contact, concerning matters regarding this RFP. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the disqualification of the proponent and the rejection of the proponent’s proposal.

An optional site visit has been scheduled as follows:

Date and Time: June 6, 2023 2:00 PM local time

Proponents are to meet at location prior to TIME to sign the site attendance sheet. Proponents are to pre-register by email to the project coordinator at Gazi.Rahman@gov.mb.ca. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure registration and confirmation has been received prior to the meeting.

Deadline for registration is the end of the business day June 5, 2023. Attendance at the site visit will be confirmed and recorded.

Proponents are not entitled to rely on information received from CPPD, the Owner’s representatives or other third parties at the site visit unless the RFP Contact has provided the information in writing.

Deadline for questions June 15, 2023. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca. CPPD will only address questions that were sent to this email address.

Bid submission deadline is June 22, 2023 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of Proposal submission will be accepted.
