Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Projects Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Sewer and Vent Piping replacement as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).

CPPD requires the services of a Mechanical Contractor for replacing all of the sewer and vent piping at the Provincial Office Building in Swan River, Manitoba. Work site location will be occupied during construction.

CPPD is administering this RFP process. For the purposes of this procurement process, the “RFP Contact” will be:

Proponents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, elected or appointed officials, or other representatives of Manitoba or CPPD other than the RFP Contact, concerning matters regarding this RFP. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the disqualification of the proponent and the rejection of the proponent’s proposal.

An optional pre-bid meeting has been scheduled as follows:

Date and Time: May 9, 2023 1:00 PM local time

Proponents are to meet at the lobby prior to 1:00 PM to sign the site attendance sheet. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting will be confirmed and recorded.

If proponents are not available to attend the above scheduled optional site visit, but still wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the RFP Contact. Proponents are not entitled to rely on information received from CPPD, CPPD’s representatives or other third parties at the pre-bid meeting unless the RFP Contact has provided the information in writing.

Deadline for questions May 18, 2023. All questions must be submitted to the Contract Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca. CPPD will only address questions that were sent to this email address.

Bid submission deadline is May 25, 2023 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of Proposal submission will be accepted.
