2023-58-506800-P - Parking Lot, Grading & Site Upgrades

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation. (“Owner”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the parking lot, grading and site upgrades project as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).

This project work will take place at the Vesturland Villa which is a 12 unit, motel style, residential building situated on a property site of just over 25,000 square feet, located at 201 Parkside Drive in Gimli, MB . The building is fully occupied and will remain fully occupied during construction.

CPPD is administering this RFP process. For the purposes of this procurement process, the “RFP Contact” will be:

An optional pre-bid meeting has been scheduled as follows:
Location: Vesturland Villa, 201 Parkside Drive, Gimli, MB
Date and Time: September 12, 2023, at 1:00 PM local time

Proponents are to meet at 201 Parkside Drive prior to 1:00 PM to sign the site attendance sheet.

Proponents are to pre-register by email to the project coordinator at Ed.Krosta@gov.mb.ca. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure registration and confirmation has been received prior to the meeting.

Deadline for registration is the end of the business day September 11, 2023. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting will be confirmed and recorded. If proponents are not available to attend the above scheduled optional site visit, but still wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting Project Coordinator, Ed Krosta at Ed.Krosta@gov.mb.ca. 

Proponents are not entitled to rely on information received from CPPD, the Owner’s representatives or other third parties at the pre-bid meeting unless the RFP Contact has provided the information in writing.

Deadline for questions September 29, 2023. All questions must be submitted to the RFP Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca. CPPD will only address questions that were sent to this email address.

Bid submission deadline is October 5, 2023 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
