2023-70-7179-P - Make-Up Air Unit Replacement

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation. (“Owner”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for rooftop make-up air unit replacement and associated electrical power requirements and structural supports at 865 Sinclair Street as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).

The work is being done in nine-storey residential building at 865 Sinclair Street. The Scope of Work includes but is not limited to removing and replacing the existing rooftop make-up air unit and associated electrical and structural work. Work site location will be fully occupied during construction.

CPPD is administering this RFP process. For the purposes of this procurement process, the “RFP Contact” will be:

An optional site visit has been scheduled as follows:
Location: 865 Sinclair Street
Date and Time: September 19, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time

Proponents are to meet at 865 Sinclair Street prior to 10:00 AM to sign the site attendance sheet. Proponents are to pre-register by email to the project manager at erandi.thammitaralalage@gov.mb.ca. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure registration and confirmation has been received prior to the meeting.

Deadline for registration is before noon of September 18, 2023. Attendance at the site visit will be confirmed and recorded.

Proponents are not entitled to rely on information received from CPPD, the Owner’s representatives or other third parties at the site visit unless the RFP Contact has provided the information in writing.

Deadline for questions September 28, 2023. All questions must be submitted to the RFP Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca. CPPD will only address questions that were sent to this email address.

Bid submission deadline is October 5, 2023 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
