2023-76-M-P - Interior/Exterior Retrofit and Asbestos Abatement

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation. (“Owner”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for interior/exterior retrofit and asbestos abatement as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”).

The work is being done in 18 townhouse units at 1221, 1223, 1227, 1231, 1233, 1235, 1237, 1239, 1241, 1245, 1247, 1249, 1251, 1253, 1257, 1259, 1263, and 1267 First Street North, Swan River Manitoba. work site location will be occupied during construction.

CPPD is administering this RFP process. For the purposes of this procurement process, the “RFP Contact” will be:

An optional site visit has been scheduled as follows:
Location: 1221 1st. Street North, Swan River Manitoba
Date and Time: October 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM local time

Proponents are to meet at the parking lot prior to 11:00 AM to sign the site attendance sheet. Proponents are to pre-register by email to the project coordinator at Mike.MacVicar@gov.mb.ca. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure registration and confirmation has been received prior to the meeting.

Deadline for registration is 12:00 PM October 16, 2023. Attendance at the site visit will be confirmed and recorded. If proponents are not available to attend the above scheduled optional site visit, but still wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the RFP Contact. Proponents are not entitled to rely on information received from CPPD, the Owner’s representatives or other third parties at the site visit unless the RFP Contact has provided the information in writing.

Deadline for questions October 24, 2023. All questions must be submitted to the RFP Administrator at cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca. CPPD will only address questions that were sent to this email address.

Bid submission deadline is October 31, 2023 at 2:00:00 P.M. CDT. This is an ebid submission and all bids must be uploaded through MERX. No other form of submission is accepted for this tender. Please read the tender documents carefully regarding the e-bid requirements.
