Description

1. Manitoba Finance, Accommodation Services Division (ASD) is seeking a qualified interdisciplinary team to provide prime consulting services in relation to the planning and management of the construction Work of approximately 33,000 square feet of space on the 3rd floor of the Law Courts building located at 408 York Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
  1. See Appendix C for 3rd Floor – Floor plan.
  2. The main intent of the work is to do the following:
    1. Update all finishes throughout the 3rd floor including refinishing all millwork.
      1. Replacement of all existing millwork witness stands and the reconfiguring and/or refinishing of existing millwork judge dias’, accused boxes and court clerk desks;
      2. Replacement of all existing courtroom doors and modifications to existing millwork to accommodate new doors;
      3. Update finishes in holding cells and renovate security monitoring room;
      4. Installation of new wall cladding within courtrooms and public corridor;
      5. Replacement of Courtroom ceilings.
    2. Update all signage and wayfinding throughout 3rd floor.
    3. Update the interior to make the 3rd floor more sanitary and hypoallergenic.
