Sealed bids will be received at the 2nd Floor, 400 Ellice Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3B 3M3, prior to 2:00 P.M. prevailing Winnipeg time, TUESDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2018 for:

Bidders may obtain the drawings, specifications and bid documents from www.merx.com.
Each bid must be accompanied with a fully executed original Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid Price. No substitute for the original Bid Bond will be accepted.
A mandatory site visit is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Thompson Provincial Office Building, 59 Elizabeth Drive, Thompson, Manitoba. Interested bidders are to meet in the Front Lobby. One representative from each bidder may accompany a chartered flight to Thompson for the mandatory site visit. The Province of Manitoba will cover the cost of the flight. Incidental and time cost will be the responsibility of each bidder. Exact flight details will be confirmed prior to the travel date. Bidders must pre-register for the site visit by notifying the Project Manager at Dahlton.Grosbrink@gov.mb.ca prior to 3:00 P.M November 22, 2018. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that have not attended the mandatory site visit.
Bidders must submit with the bid submission or within three (3) business days of the close of bidding a valid certificate of Risk, Professionally Managed (RPM) or Certificate of Recognition (CORTM) or valid Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (SECORTM) or Evidence of CORTM equivalency issued in accordance with the Canadian Federation of Construction Safety Associations CORTM program and verified by either the Manitoba Heavy Construction Association Work Safety Program or the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba. Bidders must also submit a letter of compliance or exemption from Apprenticeship Manitoba and completed Contractor’s Certification Form – Legislative and Safety Requirements with the bid submission or within three (3) business days of the close of bidding. Failure to submit the required documentation within three (3) business days will cause the tender to be rejected.
Only firm bids will be considered.
The receipt or opening of any Bid is not acceptance; acceptance of any Bid may only be made in writing by the Department; and there is no obligation by the Department to accept the lowest or any Bid.
