6950-2022/23 - Bacteriological Services for Private Water Systems in Manitoba

This Request for Proposals (RFP) to to provide bacteriological analytical services for Private Water System Owners in Manitoba.
The Laboratory must be accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 for the appropriate tests with the Standards Council of Canada or equivalent and use certified procedures based on established procedures in the latest edition of Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater by the American Public Health Association (APHA), the United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA). The Laboratory must be able to call out adverse results in a timely manner according to the specifications in this RFP and as per section 24 of The Drinking Water Safety Act.
The Laboratory will be required to track the subsidies used by each Private Water System Owner. In addition, the Laboratory must be able to implement split billing, charging the Owner directly for the portion of the sample that is not subsidized.
