Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the Layup Dock Repairs in North Sydney, NS.

The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal site in North Sydney, Nova Scotia.

The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, the repairs for the Layup Dock. More particularly the work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:

Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work.

Pre-Dive Survey of all components of the work and report to Owner’s Representative any and all discrepancies prior to commencing repairs.

Repair all potholes indicated on drawings via cold milling and supply and install with new asphalt.

Repair all sinkholes indicated on drawings. Supply and install new granulars with new asphalt.

Supply and install new anchor plates and hilti bolts in existing copewall and caisson wall at three (3) joint locations between caissons, as indicated on drawings.

Supply and install tremie concrete and associated rebar for joint infill at three (3) joint locations between caissons, as indicated on drawings.

Video documentation of underwater repairs at all three (3) joint locations between caissons once completed.

Submittals:
- Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Construction Schedule.
- Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Safety Plan.
- Preparation, submission and implementation of an approved Traffic Control and Pedestrian Plan.
- Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Environmental Protection Plan.
- Preparation, and submission of a Project Execution Methodology.

Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept tenders in whole or in part. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

A site visit will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 2:00 PM Atlantic Time at the site in North Sydney, Nova Scotia.

The closing for receipt of tenders will be 1400 hours Atlantic Time, June 29, 2023.

Proposals must be submitted by electronic means using the MERX EBS.

This will be the only method of response accepted for consideration. Proposals will not be considered if submitted by fax, email or other open forms of communication. Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour. Late Proposals will not be considered.

Marine Atlantique Inc. (MAI) sollicite des offres de fournisseurs qualifiés pour les réparations du quai de layup à North Sydney, en Nouvelle-Écosse.
Le projet est situé sur le site de la gare maritime de Marine Atlantique à North Sydney, en Nouvelle-Écosse.
Les travaux comprennent généralement, mais sans s'y limiter, les réparations du quai de layup. Plus particulièrement, le travail comprend, sans toutefois s'y limiter, les éléments suivants :

• Mobilisation et démobilisation, y compris toute la main-d'œuvre et l'équipement spécifiés et nécessaires pour effectuer les travaux.

• Enquête de pré-plongée sur tous les composants du travail et signalez au représentant du propriétaire toute anomalie avant de commencer les réparations.

• Réparez tous les nids-de-poule indiqués sur les dessins par fraisage à froid et fournissez et installez avec de l'asphalte neuf.

• Réparer tous les gouffres indiqués sur les dessins. Fournir et installer de nouveaux granulats avec de l'asphalte neuf.

• Fournir et installer de nouvelles plaques d'ancrage et de nouveaux boulons Hilti dans le chaperon existant et le mur de caissons à trois (3) emplacements de joints entre les caissons, tel qu'indiqué sur les dessins.

• Fournir et installer le béton de trémie et les barres d'armature associées pour le remplissage des joints à trois (3) emplacements de joints entre les caissons, tel qu'indiqué sur les dessins.

• Documentation vidéo des réparations sous-marines aux trois (3) emplacements de joints entre les caissons une fois terminés.

• Soumissions :
o Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d'un calendrier de construction approuvé.
o Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d'un plan de sécurité spécifique au site approuvé.
o Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d'un plan approuvé de contrôle de la circulation et des piétons.
o Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d'un plan de protection de l'environnement spécifique au site approuvé.
o Préparation et soumission d'une méthodologie d'exécution de projet.

Marine Atlantique se réserve le droit d'accepter les soumissions en tout ou en partie. L'offre la plus basse ou toute offre ne sera pas nécessairement acceptée.

Une visite des lieux aura lieu le mardi 20 juin 2023 à 14 h 00, heure de l'Atlantique, sur le site de North Sydney, en Nouvelle-Écosse.

La date limite de réception des offres sera le 29 juin 2023 à 1400 heures, heure de l'Atlantique.

Les propositions doivent être soumises par voie électronique en utilisant MERX EBS.

Ce sera la seule méthode de réponse acceptée pour considération. Les propositions ne seront pas prises en compte si elles sont soumises par fax, e-mail ou autres formes de communication ouvertes. Les propositions doivent être reçues avant la date et l'heure de clôture. Les propositions tardives ne seront pas prises en considération.
