Description

The Shared Library Services Partnership (SLSP) is a not-for-profit publicly funded collective consisting of four public health unit libraries: Kingston, Frontenac Lennox & Addington Public Health (KFL&A PH), Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU), Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU), and Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU). For the purposes of this report, the four public health unit libraries will be referred to as the SLSP.

The SLSP is soliciting a Request for Quotation from a qualified company to design, develop and execute a small public facing website utilizing content management software (CMS). KFL&A PH is acting on behalf of the SLSP to negotiate a contract with an appropriate vendor.

The SLSP website will provide a public facing point of entry for staff from 24 public health units across Ontario. The finalized website will:

promote communication between librarians and staff,
enhance collaboration and standardization of services for SLSP libraries; and,
facilitate staff access to library information, services and online resources
