Description

Road and Surface Works:
Strip and dispose of 4,722 m2 of existing asphalt concrete and dispose off-site
Supply and install 6,033 m2 of 90 mm thick HL4 asphalt surface course, place compact and shape.
Supply and install 605 m2 of 1.5 m wide (150mm thick) concrete sidewalks c/w 150mm Granular 'A' base and 200mm Granular 'B' Type I sub-base.
Supply and install of 960 m of concrete barrier curb and gutter c/w 150mm Granular 'A' base and 465 mm Granular 'B' Type I sub-base.
Supply and install 592 m2 of unit paver on boulevard, c/w 150mm Granular 'A' base and 200mm Granular 'B' Type I sub-base.
Pavement markings (Spray MMA)

Water Distribution:
Supply and install 412 m of PVC watermain (various dia.), c/w fittings,valves & boxes, temporary potable water services, hydrostatic testing, flushing and disinfection.
Supply and install one (1) new fire hydrant, c/w 150 mm  Ø valve & box

Storm Sewer Collection:
Supply and install 381 m DR35 PVC (various dia.) storm sewer pipes
Supply and install nine (11) catch basins c/w frames and covers.
Supply and install three (7) new 1,200 mm Ø Precast Manholes
Construct two (2) concrete headwalls.

All tenders will be received at the above address and must be delivered prior to 2:00 pm
CST (Sioux Lookout time), Thursday, March 23, 2017. Tender submissions will not
be accepted by faxsimile.
1.2 PREPARATION OF TENDERS
.1 All tenders must be made on the tender form provided together with security as
specified. The Tender must be signed by the Tenderer and witnessed and the lump sum
price for the work must be both in words and figures as computed from the schedule of
unit prices. Unit Price extensions and totals will be checked following tender opening
and, in the event that discrepancies occur, the corrected sum price shall govern.
