Description

General contracting firms with specific expertise in the construction of electric distribution and transmission infrastructure are invited to respond to this Bid. The work entails an upgrade to the community's existing 25kV overhead distribution system. Upgrading work consists of correcting identified pole framing and distribution deficienicies to bring the system into compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA).

The Event date noted is tentantive and will be confirmed in an addendum. A charter will be arranged to depart out of Winnipeg to Pikangikum. Bidders attending the mandatory site walk through will be required to pay a proportionate amount of the cost of the chartered flight (currently estimated at $750 per attendee). The charter will only accommodate one representative from each firm bidding.
