2021-SDL-146. - Health and Safety, Labour Relations and Bidding

Canada Post Corporation (CPC) has embarked on a review of its core IT infrastructure that supports the end-to-end relationship with its customers and employees.  In addition to the review of its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, CPC is also reviewing its evolving requirements related to several niche areas of transformation outside of the core system within the HR landscape.
As such, CPC is looking to the market for responses, through an initial RFI, to questions on potential solutions in the following areas:

• CPC currently has a Health & Safety (H&S) Incident Management System (IMS) tool that was designed over 20 years ago that is used to document, track, and resolve incidents of injury on duty.  This tool no longer meets evolving needs as its functionality is limited and does not enable the strategic level of proactive risk mitigation and injury prevention that is part of a multi-year Corporate H&S Strategy. 
• CPC currently has a Labour Relations Grievance Management System (GMS) that is used to document, track, and resolve grievances with employees represented by CPC’s various bargaining agents.  Although this tool meets Canada Post’s needs, the solution is at end of life and is limited to current functionality.  No new system enhancements are possible moving forward.
