Description

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) General Headquarters (GHQ) was specifically constructed in 1995 to accommodate OPP’s centralized headquarter functions along with many special purpose spaces and structures. Over time, programs have undergone change in numbers and evolved the way they work with varying personas (also known as mobility patterns) and workstyles. Currently GHQ is unable to suitably accommodate the current programs as well as accommodate net new programs and services being demanded of it largely due to inflexible, rigid and outdated space usage.
