Industry Training Authority (ITA) is a provincial crown agency established in 2004 and is governed by a board of directors appointed by the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training (AEST). ITA is responsible for managing BC’s industry training and apprenticeship system to develop the skilled workforce needed to ensure the competitiveness and economic prosperity of BC. ITA currently administers examinations in 98 trades each year in British Columbia. These exams provide ITA, training providers and apprentices with information about student achievement and progress through trades training.
We are currently looking for an organization to manage the recruitment, training and scheduling of invigilators for all exams in the Lower Mainland. Please note: ITA exams are administered under strict security protocols to ensure the exams are not compromised.
The attached document initiates a Two-stage following Initial Selection competitive process. In this preliminary stage, suppliers will be requested to submit only certain information for evaluation purpose. Only the suppliers initially selected will be invited to the next stage. The process is further explained within the NRFP document.
ITA is conducting its own procurement initiatives and this is not a joint procurement.
Estimated procurement valuation for initiative no. ITA2017-11 over an assumed five (5) year term is $1.1mil CAD.
