IESO RFP #139 - Unified Communications

The IESO engaged a consultant to assist in the design of a unified communications strategy through analyzing the current state of technology and key business requirements. The consultant conducted a fit gap and system analysis, and provided the IESO with a set of recommendations that best meet the needs of the organization. Improving audio and video conferencing capabilities in IESO’s meeting rooms was one of the key recommendations.
 
To address room-based videoconferencing, the IESO is seeking vendors with audio/video design and implementation capabilities to supply and implement audio-video conferencing at a number of IESO meeting rooms. The IESO has three locations currently (Oakville, Mississauga, and downtown Toronto). In addition to current planned meeting room upgrades, the successful proponent will provide the services to any future meeting rooms at the current and any future locations added to supply, install configure and commission of the unified communications solutions based on standard room types as detailed throughout this document.
