IESO RFP #0143 - RT-GCG - Cost Mechanism Consultant

The IESO’s Real-time Generation Cost Guarantee Program relies on universally applied and resource-specific pre-approved values to represent the amount of incremental fuel and Operating & Maintenance costs eligible for recovery under the program, as defined in the IESO Market Manual 4.6 entitled “Real-time Generation Cost Guarantee Program”, and as defined in the IESO market rules for this program.
The Service Provider will support the IESO in its efforts to develop and maintain pre-approved values to support the cost recovery methodology for the RT-GCG program on an ongoing basis. The Service Provider will provide subject matter expertise and advice for the following service categories:

• Fuel Markets i.e. natural gas, biofuel and oil;
• Operating and Maintenance Costs including, methodology, approach and calculations for facilities that could participate in the program.V
