Description

This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is an invitation by the Independent Electricity System Operator (the “IESO”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of services and deliverables in respect of Energy Storage Services.

The IESO is seeking to enhance how it considers energy storage in resource planning activities to deliver on the IESO’s core mission of maintaining a reliable and affordable electricity system. Specifically, the IESO is seeking a consultant to produce research complimentary to IESO in-house research initiatives under the following three streams:
      a) Stream One: The current status of ESRs, with a focus on Ontario
      b) Stream Two: Analysis to support resource planning
      c) Stream Three: Analysis to support discussions about future resource planning
      d) Stream Four: Additional services
