Description

Groupe Média TFO produces award winning, compelling children’s programming from our facilities at 21 College Street in Toronto. TFO is evolving into a new creative space utilising UHD technology in the near real world of virtual set technology and the real world beyond our studio. TFO is seeking a vendor to provide detailed engineering design and integration of new UHD broadcast equipment and audio infrastructure in our control room and production facility. The system will include integration of the following equipment already acquired by TFO: A new Ross Video Acuity/Ultrix (12G) switcher, Sony Cameras, an Evertz UHD 12G Router, Clip Record/Playback Systems, Character Generator and audio production consoles. The concept includes upgrade of TFO Control Room 1 to full UHD (12G) operation.
A vendor will be required to provide engineering design and installation along with all necessary interconnections to provide a fully operational UHD studio and control room system within the current TFO Toronto facility while keeping existing HD services intact. The vendor will also be required to supply any additional signal conversion and distribution equipment necessary to meet their design.
