Description of requested services: Servers replacements - hyperconvergence Project

GMTFO has over 30 years of experience and knowledge producing live broadcast programs and multimedia content.

To optimize the compute, storage and the network resources, we are looking for a comprehensive solution that is capable of supporting our current environment, namely:

200 VM
100 TB usable storage
8 VMware hosts

The proposed design must be secure, flexible, scalable, and simple to support and maintain.
In addition, it is important that we begin with a basic solution to reach gradually a comprehensive solution that would integrate for example backup and disaster recovery.
This will be a stage approach along the years.
The scope of this project includes all design, licensing, and the implementation of GMTFO’s new infrastructure.

GMTFO will consider solutions that do not rely on the traditional storage and make abstract of the different layers (compute, storage and network).
Our last objective is to become, on the medium to long-term range, a provider of private cloud.
The chosen solution must meet the following requirements classified by order of importance.
