Scope of Work

The renal program is looking for a qualified vendor to supply competitive pricing on sterile non-injectable male luer lock catheter caps. The program uses approximately 86,000 caps annually. The preference is for sterile caps to be packaged individually but the program will also consider sterile caps packaged in pairs.

Specifications

The renal program requires a sterile non-injectable male luer lock catheter cap. Ideally, the proposed cap will be easy to clean, prevent leaks and be easy to apply and remove.

GRH is not considering disinfection caps in this Request for Quotation.

Mandatory Requirements

The proposed cap must be covered by a Health Canada Medical Devices Licence.

The proposed cap must be latex-free.

Bidders must provide 12 samples of the proposed cap at no charge. Samples are to be sent to the RFQ Coordinator by November 15, 2017.
