Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (NLHS) is administering this RFP on behalf of Eastern Regional Health Authority (Eastern Health) to submit proposals for Eastern Health organizational operational readiness consultation and planning, facility move, transition planning and execution (as Eastern Health vacates the current Waterford Hospital and moves into the new build replacement location). This will be in accordance with the specifications and requirements set out in this RFP, as well as the NL Public Procurement Act.
Scope of Work:
Professional healthcare facility relocation firm (Proponent) who can provide the comprehensive operational readiness planning, logistics planning, move and physical relocation services, from the existing Waterford Hospital to the new replacement Mental Health and Addictions Facility (NAMHAF) - inclusive of identification, management, and movement of transfer list equipment.
Installation of wall mounted Eastern Health supplied equipment.
This is an expert steering consultant that can work with the Public and Private Partnership (P3) teams to allow the Eastern Health organization to seamlessly change from service delivery and day to day operations at an existing health care facility to a brand-new health care facility.
It is imperative that the Proponent have extensive experience in the consultation, planning, scheduling, and performing the relocation of acute healthcare facilities.
