Description

Central Regional Health Authority (Central Health) is administering this RFP on behalf of the Regional Health Authorities of Newfoundland and Labrador (RHA) to submit proposals for CT Scanner. This will be in accordance with the specifications and requirements set out in this RFP, as well as the Public Procurement Act. Please note as per section 4.4 of the RFP Terms and Conditions, Central Health may award the Adult and Pediatric CT scanner separately.

The term of the agreement will be for a contract period of seven (7) years with an option to extend for an additional three (3) years.

**Note: The meeting point will be at the main patient entrance of the Health Sciences Centre, just after the screening booths. We will meet there at 4pm and then travel to the Janeway CT area.**

Additional Bidding Instructions

Proponents are to complete the Financial Submission in accordance with the instructions contained in this RFP, provided that the following shall apply.

All prices shall be provided in Canadian funds and shall include all applicable customs duties, tariffs, overhead, profit, permits, licenses, labor, carriage, insurance, and warranties, and further shall not be subject to adjustment for fluctuation in foreign exchange rates. All prices shall be quoted exclusive of applicable taxes. Taxes if applicable, should be stated separately.

The Proponent should provide the total cost of ownership as part of their pricing Proposal, including all anticipated costs related to the deliverables as identified in the RFP as well as other costs that may include but not be limited to transition costs; cost of installation; hourly rates and estimated hours required to perform the work; certification/testing costs; user training and education costs; discounts associated with volume increases; etc.

Additional considerations:
Please quote adult and pediatric CT scanners separately.

Please quote base model with all specifications as indicated.
Additional features/options to be quoted separately. These items will be included under the contract, if and when required.
Vendor to provide pricing for replacement parts and preventative maintenance kits to be held for 7 years with an option to extend for three additional years with annual increase (if applicable) not to exceed the yearly cost of living as established by Canadian Consumer Price Index.
