Description

Resource will be required to plan and lead the QA Testing Tools project and Test Environments adoption, access, monitor implementation and report on the progress while highlighting potential risks and recommending suitable mitigation strategies
Resource will be required to follow the eHealth Ontario Gating processes ensure the project meets the necessary mandatory requirements
Resource will be required to manage internal application and operations teams as well as any vendors subcontracted to implement part or whole of the project deliverables.
Resource will be required to provide advice and consultation on best practices regarding testing processes, methodologies, tools, and organizational structure related to assigned projects
Resource may be required to lead other testers by mentoring, coaching, reviewing, and advising on best practices/use of testing productivity tools/technologies and virtualized test environments
Lead the implementation and adoption of Rational suite of QA tools
Manage and direct the services of the Testing Tools vendor
Coordinate the migration of Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scripts.
Plan and ensure all QA staff are trained in the use of the new Testing Tools.
Support usage and continual improvement and adoption of the Testing Tools
Liaise with B&D Tools and Change Management for test infrastructure changes such as firewall routes, hardware, certificates.
Guide and facilitate the design of the QA Automation Framework, policies and process
Ensure ongoing project progress and resource utilization reporting to the management
Ensure QA staff access, licenses and permission requests are processed.
QA adoption and migration to the new Virtual Test Environments (VTE)
Change management associated with a new toolset, the new test environments and a revised Enterprise Release Management Policy.
