Develop and produce a data dictionary for data elements contributed to and consumed from the provincial EHR assets. The dictionary should be developed in a manner that can be published electronically for access and easy searching by stakeholders. It will contain an easy to access list of data elements for current EHR products, relationships between data elements within and between EHR products and associated meta-data. This work will leverage existing terminology worksheets, standards specifications, and EHR asset product documentation to inform the data elements to be included. These will be verified with the product management group within eHealth Ontario to confirm compliance of the actual data received against the expected standards. This work also includes the documentation of processes and practices to support maintenance and sustained use for the continuous update of the dictionary as the source of truth of the data contributed to and consumed from the EHR.
