The Sicamous Fire Department provides service to some 2,441 permanent residents (2011 census) and a large number of year round tourists and guests, in a village community setting. This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) relates to the District of Sicamous (the “DOS”) interest in procuring one heavy duty CAFS Rescue Engine, with four doors, commercial cab, 1,500 IGPM fire pump, Compressed Air Foam System and a four or all-wheel drive system for the purpose of firefighting and providing emergency and rescue response services in an urban/rural environment. The DOS welcomes Proposals which meet its objectives, needs and requirements as set out in this RFP.
