Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals (RFAP) Environmental Consultant Services: MFPSP3, Aquatic and Terrestrial Wildlife At Risk Assessment (all species excluding western chorus frog), 4th Canadian Division Training Centre, Meaford, Ontario
In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from Environmental consulting firms to provide the following professional services:
- Undertake a study to collect data, identify, and assess on the composition, distribution, relative abundance of aquatic and terrestrial wildlife at risk, their residences, and their habitat that occur or have the potential to occur within the Project Study Area at 4 CDTC Meaford, Ontario.
- Identify potential impacts (including potential permit requirements) and mitigation measures on aquatic and terrestrial wildlife at risk, their residences and their habitat that may occur as a result of relocated infrastructure and utilities.
- Prepare a comprehensive report and Geographic Information System (GIS) map package on the data and information collected during the study that will be used to inform the DND Environmental Effects Determination (EED) process.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFAP. The objective of this RFAP is to select the proponent with the highest total score.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Abbreviated Proposals through the MERX Electronic Bidding System on or before the closing date and time indicated on the Electronic Bidding System.
