Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals (RFAP) for Engineering & Technical Consultant Services: Detailed Condition Assessment, Rehabilitation, RF and Structural Design for the Strategic Towers, Antenna and Cable Program at Various Locations Across Eastern Canada and Western Canada
Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for abbreviated proposals from consulting firms to establish two (2) Standing Offers (SOs) with one (1) firm being placed on each SO, to provide “as and when required” professional services specific to Department of National Defence (DND) requirements for the following zones: Zone 1: Eastern Canada (including Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador) and Zone 2: Western Canada (including Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories).
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFAP.
The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the RFAP Documents.
Zone 1: Eastern Canada (including Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador)
The SO for Zone 1 will be for a period of two (2) years with a maximum estimated value of $1,000,000.00. If mutually agreeable between the Consultant and DCC, the Zone 1 SO may be extended for up to three (3) additional one-year periods and increased by $200,000.00 for each additional period.
Zone 2: Western Canada (including Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and the Northwest Territories)
The SO for Zone 2 will be for a period of two (2) years with a maximum estimated value of $800,000.00. If mutually agreeable between the Consultant and DCC, the Zone 2 SO may be extended for up to three (3) additional one-year periods and increased by $100,000.00 for each additional period.
Call-ups under each SO are expected to be valued between $5,000 and $70,000; Refer to the RFAP document for additional information.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Abbreviated Proposals through the MERX Electronic Bidding System on or before the closing date and time indicated on the Electronic Bidding System.
