Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals (RFAP) Engineering Consulting Services: BA042112, Increase of the 25 Kv network protection, CFB Bagotville, Québec
In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from engineering consulting firms to provide the following professional services: preparation of a Statement of Requirement and concept, design development, construction documents, assistance during the tender call and construction phases for the medium-voltage electrical installations update in preparation of a load increase at CFB Bagotville Québec.
A NON-MANDATORY Site Meeting will be held at the following date, time and location.
- Date: August 4, 2020
- Time: 1:00 pm local time
- Location: Defense ConstructionCanada, 3 Wing CFB Bagotville, Building 62, Ottawa Street, Alouette (QC), G0V 1A0. The meeting location will be outside the main door of Building 62.
- Tenderers wishing to attend the site meeting are asked to pre-register at least 24 hours in advance by emailing: richard.thibault@dcc-cdc.gc.ca
- In line with the Public Health Measures provided by the Public Health Agency of Canada, the use of a non-medical mask (acquired or fabricated) will be required during the Site Meeting. As there may be several people at the visit it could be difficult to keep a 2m physical distance at all times. Use of gloves is your personal option but not explicitly required at this time to access to the site. Masks will not be provided to Tenderers by DCC.
- A maximum of 8 contractor personnel will be able to attend the site visit tour at any given time. Attendance will be taken at the site access gate. The first 8 contractors will then proceed with the site visit. If more than 8 persons are in attendance the additional visitors will be required to wait outside for the initial tour to finish and can then participate in a second tour of the site.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFAP. The objective of this RFAP is to select the proponent with the highest total score.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Abbreviated Proposals through the MERX Electronic Bidding System on or before the closing date and time indicated on the Electronic Bidding System.
