Description

Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals to establish a Standing Offer to provide Public-Private-Partnership (P3) Insurance Advisory Services:
HOSO1602, Public-Private-Partnership (P3) Insurance Advisory Services, Canada Wide

In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from consulting firms to provide the following professional services:

Support DCC during the pre-procurement phase: preparing the Draft Insurance Requirements Schedule of the P3 Project Agreement. Review the draft Insurance Requirements Schedule and provide feedback/input, or revisions, as required, in order to recommend appropriate insurance requirements for the project and to ensure the requirements are clearly articulated in the project’s procurement documentation; and
Support DCC during the Procurement: participate in commercially confidential meetings and discussions with potential bidders as insurance subject matter expert. Support DCC by preparing draft responses to insurance-related requests for information from potential bidders. Provide support during commercial close of the P3 contract.

Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise. The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposals is to select one (1) firm, who will sign a Standing Offer (SO) with DCC to provide services on an “as and when required” basis to a maximum estimated value of $550,000, for a period of two (2) years from the date of establishment.

Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Abbreviated Proposals on the forms that are available from MERX by calling 1-800-964-6379.

To be considered, Abbreviated Proposals must be received at the following address, no later than:
14:00 hours local time on February 14, 2017
