DCC – RFP for Facilities Maintenance and Support Services, Thunder Bay and Kenora Armouries and supporting sites
Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Facilities Maintenance firms to provide proposals to carry out the required Facilities Maintenance Support Services for two (2) armouries and two (2) supporting sites located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and one (1) armoury located in Kenora, Ontario.
This Facility Maintenance and Support Services Contract requires the Contractor to be responsible for the Maintenance and Support Services of all identified buildings, land areas and their associated infrastructure within the defined property limits that will ensure compliance with all regulations, standards and codes and to a standard that will not cause the buildings to deteriorate beyond normal wear and tear throughout the contract term.
The Contractor will be required to provide Facilities Maintenance and Support Services over a four (4) year period to commence by July 01, 2019. The required services will be for three (3) buildings (Armouries) two (2) supporting sites, with a total gross area of 16,729 m2. The Scope also includes the surrounding land area around the armouries. The Contractor may also be required to provide Demand Services arranged under Additional Work Requests for any buildings located on the Sites.
If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended up to two (2) additional three (3) year periods, for a possible total of 10 years.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Proposals.
This opportunity follows procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
