Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals (RFAP): BA202082, Environmental Expertise for Assessment, Strategic Analysis and Management of Per and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Bagotville, Alouette, Quebec.
In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from engineering consulting firms to provide the following professional services:
Identify and locate potential sources of PFAS at CFB Bagotville, characterize and delineate the source areas, and assess the potential impacts (potential risks to human health and the environment) from those areas. This includes the development and implementation of one or more Risk and/or Remediation strategies (in line with Steps 7 and 8 of the FACS), and confirmatory sampling and long-term monitoring if required (in line with Steps 9 and 10 of the FACS) to ensure that human and environmental receptors are protected.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFAP. The objective of this RFAP is to select the proponent with the highest total score.

Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Abbreviated Proposals through the MERX Electronic Bidding System on or before the closing date and time indicated on the Electronic Bidding System.
