Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals for:
HAUSL98, Design-Build Residential Housing Units for Canadian Forces Housing Agency, CFB Shilo, Manitoba
Defence Construction Canada is inviting design-build firms to submit Proposals for the design and construction services specific to this Canadian Forces Housing Agency project.
The Design-Builder will be required to provide the necessary services for the complete design and construction of all aspects of the project. The required services include, but may not be limited to the following: design documents for a duplex; construction of four (4) duplexes; construction of foundations and associated landscaping; site base preparation (removal of organic materials and placement of granular materials); connecting the duplexes to all utilities (including laterals for municipal infrastructure) in coordination with the municipality.
The estimated construction cost for Phase 1 of this project is in the order of magnitude of $4,098,931.
Proponents are advised that DCC is contemplating the site adaptation of the Design-Builder’s design and the construction of up to seven (7) additional duplexes at CFB Shilo, Manitoba. Details related to the site adaptation and construction of additional apartment buildings are provided in Section 3 of the RFAP.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposals. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise. The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposals is to select the proponent with the highest total score.
Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Proposal through the Merx Electronic Bidding System.
