DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – #TT200002– Foundation Demolition & Associated Soil Remediation, Lambton Shores, Ontario, Ontario
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to remove existing building foundations & slab on grades and to excavate and dispose of contaminated soil at the Stony Point site.
Tenderers are advised that this procurement has been set-aside under the Federal Government Set-Aside for Aboriginal Business, in accordance with the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB). The Tenderer must certify in its tender that it is an Aboriginal Business or eligible joint venture, as defined in this competition and in the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS) Contracting Policy Notices on Aboriginal Business Procurement.
Amendments to the tender documents should be obtained from MERX AS AMENDMENTS OBTAINED FROM OTHER SOURCES MAY NOT BE THE LATEST.
Bids from bidders whose name does not appear on the official list of bidders who ordered the tender documents, may be declared invalid.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $ 531,000.00
Bidders are advised that bid and contract security is required when the advertised budget (estimated cost for this opportunity) is greater than $100,000. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193), paragraph 5.
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 105 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 35 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
This procurement is set aside from the international trade agreements under the provision each has for measures with respect to Aboriginal peoples or for set-asides for small and minority businesses.
Further to Article 800 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), CFTA does not apply to this procurement.
