DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project No. WW24ITM2_SC82366 – Lifting Equipment Services ITM (Inspection, Testing and Maintenance), 3CDSB Wainwright, AB
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision, and equipment necessary to perform inspection, testing & maintenance services related to Lifts, Hoist, Cranes, Elevating Equipment and Doc Levellers referred to generally as “ITM Services”.
As per Acknowledgement Document, Item 7 – Bidders are advised that it is understood and agreed that in the event of their Tender being accepted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date and time stated for closing of tenders and their failing or refusing to carry out the contract in accordance with the terms of their Tender, their bid security, if required by the tender, (i) if in the form of a wire transfer, shall be forfeited to His Majesty the King in Right of Canada, or (ii) if in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bonding Company shall be liable in accordance with the Bond.
A site visit has been arranged for the following date, time, and location. It is highly recommended that bidders attend this visit.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $614,000.00, including option years and Prime Cost Allowances.
The Commencement Date is February 1, 2025, and Work must be completed no later than January 31, 2027. If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the Contract may be extended for two (2) additional one-year periods with the same Terms and Conditions and applicable cost escalation. The Contractor will be advised within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days of expiry of the contract if the option to extend will be considered.
The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP) within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in Amendment No.1 to the tender documents.
