Description

Defence Construction Canada is calling for Request for Qualifications from local contractors to become pre-qualified to be on a Source list for Quick Response Tenders (QRT) / Urgent Response Tenders (URT) for work required by the Department of National Defence, at 17 Wing CFB Winnipeg, Manitoba for two (2) years from the date of establishment of the Source List with, if mutually agreed, one (1) optional one (1) year extension.

Prequalification will be for the following category of service(s):

Underground civil work including sewer repair, sewer replacement or broken sanitary lines.
General civil work including road work such as asphalt and concrete repairs.

DCC may utilize QRT’s and URT’s for projects ranging in value up to $300,000.00.

The selected contractors will be required to hold a valid Designated Organizational Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this Source List are identified in the Technical Document.

The Source List may be used for all commissions in support of underground civil and general civil construction work with various security clearance requirements (none, DOS, FSC SECRET, etc.). Contractors will require the appropriate security clearance level to be considered for each opportunity to bid. Note, underground civil work is less likely to have projects with security requirements although this is not guaranteed.

The RFQ closing date is: July 22, 2021

The RFQ closing time is: 14:00 hours, local time.

Only Request for Qualifications received before July 22 at 14:00 hours, local time will be considered for this QRT/URT Source list.
