DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – NWS1701 – Request for Abbreviated Proposals (RFAP) for the Replacement of Diesel-Electric Generator Engines at the North Warning System Sites, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Labrador, and North Bay, Ontario
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to perform the supply and installation of Diesel-Electric Generators (DEGs) at various locations across the Canadian Arctic and in North Bay, Ontario.

Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Abbreviated Proposal. The criteria relate to previous achievements and experience, as well as technical and managerial expertise. The objective of this Request for Abbreviated Proposal is to select the Proponent with the highest total score.
The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the procurement documents.
A site visit has been arranged for the following date, time and location. It is highly recommended that Proponents attend this visit. Pre-registration is required as per section 1.9.5 of the RFAP document.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $13,000,000.
Proponents are advised that contract security is required when the advertised budget (estimated cost for this opportunity) is greater than $100,000. Refer to section 2.4 of the RFAP document.
The Work must reach Substantial Completion for Part 1 no later than 120 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be entirely completed no later than December 31, 2021.
