Defence Construction Canada – Request for Proposals for Facilities Maintenance and Support Services: MJFM2016-MANFM17, Facilities Maintenance and Support Services for Various Armouries in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and 15 Wing Moose Jaw.
Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Facilities Maintenance firms to provide proposals to carry out the required Facilities Maintenance Services for Armouries and associated areas in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, as well as buildings at 15 Wing Moose Jaw, SK.
This procurement will result in two (2) Facility Maintenance contracts: MANFM2017 for Armouries in Manitoba, and MJFM2016 for Armouries in Saskatchewan plus building at 15 Wing Moose Jaw. The Facilities Maintenance and Support Services Contracts require that the Contractors provide Maintenance and Support Services of all identified buildings and their associated infrastructure within the defined property limits in a manner and to a standard that will not cause the buildings to deteriorate beyond normal wear and tear throughout the contract term.
The Contractors will be required to provide Facilities Maintenance and Support Services over the next five (5) years and to start Services 3 months after award. The Contractors may also be required to provide Demand Services arranged under Additional Work Requests for any buildings located on the Sites.
If mutually agreeable between the Contractors and DCC, the contracts may be extended up to two (2) additional three (3) year periods, for a possible total of eleven (11) years.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the Request for Proposals.
The estimated contract value of MANFM2017 over a 5 year period is in the order of $12M including the Prime Cost Allowances.
The estimated contract value of MJFM2016 over a 5 year period is in the order of $14M including the Prime Cost Allowances.
These opportunities follow procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 10 of NAFTA.
