This Summary Notice and Notice of Intended Procurement is issued by Centre d’excellence en approvisionnement FRANCOachat and its participating agencies (“CEA FRANCOachat”) for procurements covered by the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and/or the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement to provide summary information in relation to specific procurement, as detailed below.

REQUEST FOR QUOTATION #22-256
New Keyless Access System and Intrusion Alarm System Upgrades – 13 Schools
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by Centre d’excellence en approvisionnement FRANCOachat and its participating agencies (“CEA FRANCOachat”) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for New Keyless Access System and Intrusion Alarm System Upgrades - 13 Schools, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
This competitive procurement process is being completed on behalf of the following school board:

Hereinafter, the above-named school board is referred to as "Board" unless otherwise specified.
The Intent of this RFQ is to obtain quotations from respondents to supply and install keyless access systems and carry out upgrades to the existing intrusion alarm system for 13 schools, in accordance with all RFQ Documents and Terms and Conditions outlined herein (the “Agreement”).
It is anticipated that contract work is to commence once the successful respondent and the Board Representative have a scheduling meeting and with a conclusion date no later than no later than November 30, 2022, based on current supply chain market conditions. The schedule can be pre-approved or negotiated between the Board Representative and the successful respondent should the above timelines change.

7. Date of Pre-Bid Inspection or Pre-Bid Meeting
NON- MANDATORY pre-bid inspections of the existing site and premises, with the Owner present, can be arranged for the respondent the week of June 27th to June 30th, 2022. Respondents are to coordinate their requested site visit with the Board’s project manager. Respondents who wish to conduct site visit shall inform the Project Manager. The Respondents who wish to attend must confirm intent with the Board’s Project Manager no later than 10:00 AM, June 27th, 2022, by sending an email to royj@franco-nord.ca.
