Summary Notice and Notice of Intended Procurement
This Summary Notice and Notice of Intended Procurement is issued by Centre d’excellence en approvisionnement FRANCOachat and its participating agencies (“CEA FRANCOachat”) for procurements covered by the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and/or the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement to provide summary information in relation to specific procurement, as detailed below.

1. Subject Matter of Procurement
This Request for Quotations (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by Centre d’excellence en approvisionnement FRANCOachat and its participating agencies (“CEA FRANCOachat”) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Consulting Services – Multiple Construction Projects for Conseil Scolaire Catholique Franco-Nord, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The Centre d’excellence en Approvisionnements FRANCOachat (CEA FRANCOachat) is a shared service organization providing procurement services for member school boards in the province of Ontario.
This competitive procurement process is being completed on behalf of the following school boards:

3. Time-Frame for Delivery, Duration of Contract and Extension Options
The prequalified supplier list will remain open and will not have a term end date. New respondents to be added to the supplier list as outlined in Part 2, article 2.5 Maintenance and Review of the VOR Lists.

Unless otherwise indicated, all submissions shall be in English only.

8. Details of Non-Mandatory Site Visit or Pre-Bid Meeting
A NON-MANDATORY inspection of the existing site and premise, with the Board’s representative present, has been arranged for respondents: Respondents are to meet at the school’s front entrance.
Consultants who wish to attend must confirm intent with the Board no later than 2:00 PM, October 17th, 2023, by sending an email to royj@franco-nord.ca.
9. CFTA/CETA
Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this solicitation is covered by Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement, and, where the contract value meets or exceeds applicable contract value thresholds, by the Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement.
