Wasagamack First Nation is seeking bids from General Contractors interested in constructing a new Sewage Treatment Plant and Associated Works. Wasagamack First Nation is located on the west shore of Island Lake approximately 605km northwest of Winnipeg. Funding for this project will be provided by Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC). The construction of the Works must be completed no later than March 20, 2019.

A mandatory pre-tender site meeting is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Wednesday September 29, 2017. Details regarding the meeting location is provided in the Bid Documents.

The Project will generally include construction of the following:

Construction of a new Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) consisting of a 1,315 m3/d sewage treatment plant, below grade concrete foundation / treatment basins, treatment building, mechanical and electrical works, sewage truck dump, connection to existing outfall line, repair of two lift stations, access road upgrade, house servicing connection repairs/replacements and one (1) hydrant replacement.

Bids must be received at the address indicated in the Bid Document no later than 2:00 p.m. (CST) on October 13, 2017.
