Description

The Village of Teslin (the Village) is planning various energy upgrades to the Municipal Centre, currently housing municipal offices, Fire Hall and water treatment plant. In summer 2022 a series of minor upgrades were completed, including installation of a domestic hot water recirculation pump timer, programmable thermostats and low-flow fixtures, and a conversion to LED lighting within select interior areas of the building as well as on exterior lamp posts.
The current project consists of more extensive energy upgrades at the Municipal Centre, identified from a recent energy audit. Work will be completed in the shop bay, storage and office areas only; the water treatment plant area is newer and is out of scope. The intent is for construction to be substantially complete before July 31, 2023.
