820872-0110 - Financial Account Manager RFP

This “Financial Account Management Services” Terms of Reference defines the
scope of services the Proponent shall perform for the First Nation during the
implementation of the Attawapiskat Youth Centre Project for Attawapiskat First
Nation.
The Project Team approach will result in the engagement of a Financial Account
Manager who will be responsible for maintaining financial records and preparing
financial statements with respect to the Project in accordance with generally
accepted Financial Accounting principles as defined within the “Canadian Institute
of Chartered Financial Accountants Handbook”. The Financial Account Manager will
set up bank accounts as required; provide monthly financial reporting to the
Professional Project Manager; provide assistance as required to the Professional
Project Manager in managing cost control; provide payment to contractors, the First
Nation Coordinator, Project Manager, consultants, and others, following the
protocols outlined in this Terms of Reference.
