Description

The intent of this study is separated into two parts; 1072528 – RMYC Site Wide HVAC Study (272303)
& 1072530 – RMYC Site Wide BAS Study (272306)

The intent of the HVAC study portion is to perform a comprehensive study of HVAC systems throughout the site, except Building D (B12312). This study should review all of the air handling units and variable air volume (VAV) boxes. An increased focus should be put on the heat enthalpy wheels within air handling units. Condition assessment of HVAC equipment, evaluation of overall ducting layout and distribution, review of peripheral heating system and review exhaust systems sizing are to be completed. Report shall provide multiple options complete with priorities and Class D estimates. It shall recommend an optimal solution.

The intent of the BAS study portion is to review the existing building automation system (BAS) including end devices to determine if all necessary BAS/Controls equipment/components are connected and controlled to ensure optimum operational efficient and the safe operation of the building. The consultant is to provide multiple options for upgrades or complete system renewals in order to extend the life of the system.
