IO, which is an agency of the Ontario Government, is a crown corporation owned by the Province of Ontario and established by the Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation Act, 2011. OILC provides customer focused real estate services to the Ontario Government, including strategic portfolio management, asset management, property and land management, and capital projects
The project location is 59 Church Street, St. Catharines, ON. The scope of work is bundled under two separate projects:
Project A - 1087775-273097 - Electrical Services and Distribution
Replacement of the following:
Main switchboard; 3 distribution transformers; 33 electrical panel boards and 6 sub panels; Mechanical Room splitter;Replace 8 Equipment disconnects
Remove 400-A, 10-kA ATS with 1 way bypass.
Provide the following:
400-A, minimum 18-kA ATS with 1 way bypass; 250-kW permanent load bank with structural framing; retrofit kit/replace breakers in 3 panel in room 5001 and 5002.
Replace missing knockouts and seal up openings in electrical enclosures.
Provide site investigation of electrical distribution and update single line diagram.
Complete an arc-flash hazard analysis of all panels.
Provide updated short circuit study, updated selective coordination study, updated arc-flash hazard analysis and arc-flash labels.
The project to take into account provision of emporary services including rental switchboard and generators to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing court operations.
Project B - 1087832-272982 - Security Upgrades:
Upgrade of integrated video surveillance, access control and duress alarm system with all upgraded equipment’s and installation, testing and commissioning.
Decommissioning of old system and removal from the site per ministry destruction standard. Replacement of existing outdated security systems with new integrated system along with
addition of new control room on the ground floor for the Niagara Regional Police (NRP).
There are security related signage to be installed as part of the security upgrade project.
