1056202-271344 - Building Condition Assessments (2017-2019)

Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation (IO) has initiated building condition assessments to evaluate provincially owned buildings located in various municipalities across Ontario to support IO in developing a long term outlook for the repair and replacement of building components and systems to extend the life expectancy of the facilities’ and maintain the value of the assets.
The project will be split into two phases. At the end of each phase the consultant shall present the high level findings in a presentation to stakeholders. The phasing will be as follows:

• Phase 1 (2017/18): All buildings highlighted in yellow attached as Appendix R – Schedule G.
• Phase 2 (2018/19): All buildings highlighted in green attached as Appendix R – Schedule G.

• To assess conditions of the Subject Buildings systems and individual components and identify their long-term capital repair requirements (over the next 20 years);
• To identify conditions that are either potentially damaging to the property or hazardous to occupants, complete with  recommended mitigation actions and code non-compliant conditions; and
• To provide order of magnitude estimates (±25%) in association with capital repairs / replacements / upgrades for the Subject Buildings;
