Study Intent: To review the card access system with all associated components, both hardware and software, that constitute the physical operation security system. Scope includes 1, 93 and 95 Stone road buildings as well as parking lots. Investigations should include but not limited to wiring, conduits, end devices, software, panels etc. The study will provide recommended options for upgrade, repair or renewal and class D estimates for each. Recommendations should also include cost breakdown between base building (common areas) and tenant space based on quantities of devices supporting each area. This study will further investigate potential integration with other systems such as fire alarm system and BAS.
An additional aspect of the study will include an investigation of the communication system between the security desk and the parking gates. The consultant will provide information regarding condition and distribution of the system with cost estimates for repair or renewal. This will be assumed to be a shared responsibility between the owner (base building) and tenants. The consultant will be expected to fill the Capital Need Template (CNT) with all recommendation and budgetary allocation. Refer to Appendix Q.
Scope of work includes:
