Create new, accessible single point of entry with adequate queueing space & security screening
(baggage scanning & magnetometer).  Locate new entry to create a hub, refocusing building
circulation to better separate secure, private & public circulation routes.  The new single point of
entry is anticipated to be comprised of 3 levels adding approximately 15,000SF to the Milton
Courthouse. 
 
Renovate and expand current holding cell area to include a mix of cells for diverse prisoner
groups, a security control room, private, accessible lawyer-prisoner interview cubicles, integrated
security system as well as support spaces consistent with MAG's ADS and best practices.
Project also includes the relocation of displaced groups including police court bureau.
 
Replace the existing outdated video system with a new enterprise level IP based video
surveillance system to provide full security monitoring of the courthouse, including prisoner
handling & public circulation video surveillance system, control, storage & management.  This
will include replacing all existing monitors, cameras, and DVRs. Will include new duress system
and new access control system.
